Many alternative cosmologies fail for a simple reason.
They cannot be held in the mind.
They are either too vague, too eccentric, too mathematically opaque without explanation, or too disconnected from ordinary physical intuition. Readers may admire their boldness for a moment, but nothing stable forms.
BFUT is different.
It gives people a structure they can carry. A dark universe. Matter accumulation. Long deep time. Thresholds approaching. Some regions ignite first. Nearby near threshold regions follow. A broad flare up spreads. Visible cosmic history begins. Galaxies evolve. Survivors dominate the long term visible pattern. Redshift remains real, but its monopoly weakens.
That is a holdable model.
It is not simplistic. It is graspable.
This matters enormously for public reach. A theory that readers can mentally rehearse becomes discussable. It can be explained to others. It can survive outside the page. It can be turned into diagrams, talks, videos, and debates. It becomes social.
That is rare.
And that is one reason BFUT may become the first serious alternative many intelligent lay readers can truly remember after one encounter.
