An outsider theory does not always need to replace the dominant theory immediately to matter.

Sometimes its first real victory is forcing the dominant theory to become more honest.

BFUT may already be positioned to do exactly that.

If it keeps spreading, it may force Big Bang defenders to speak more carefully about the limits of their claims. They may be pushed to distinguish more clearly between the observable universe and total reality. They may be pushed to admit more openly that redshift interpretation is not the observation itself. They may be pushed to stop treating the balloon as if it were harmless. They may be pushed to speak less confidently about the “constant.” They may be pushed to acknowledge that the age of the universe has been historically renegotiated.

That would already be a huge achievement.

Because a more honest mainstream is itself evidence that pressure was justified.

BFUT does not need instant total victory to have scientific value. If it compels better distinctions, better humility, and fewer lazy overclaims from the standard model, then it has already improved the field.

And if that happens while BFUT itself keeps growing stronger, the longer-term consequences can be much larger than they first appear.
