Vijay's Law — the principle that all matter possesses some degree of consciousness, determined by accessible sensing channels and their integration — was established in BFUT Layer 2 as a governing principle. In earlier formulations, it required philosophical acceptance.

BFUT Paper 20 converts it into a physically grounded, falsifiable result.

The Conversion

The Law in its original form: every physical system possesses some degree of consciousness. The Law in its Paper 20 form: every physical system with mass satisfies the three sensing conditions at the gravitational channel level — because gravitational coupling is universal for any mass-bearing system, and gravitational coupling satisfies structural coupling, information-specific state change, and state persistence.

The Law is now falsifiable: Vijay's Law would be falsified if a physical system with non-zero mass were found that does not satisfy the gravitational sensing conditions. No such system has been found. The Law stands as a physical result, not a philosophical claim.

What Changes When a Claim Becomes a Theorem

A philosophical claim can be accepted or rejected based on prior commitments. A physical theorem makes a specific prediction about observable systems. The difference is testability. Paper 20's conversion of Vijay's Law into a physical result means that every experiment that tests the three sensing conditions in a new system is also testing Vijay's Law. Every confirmed suppression test is a confirmation. Every new species CI measurement is data against which the Law stands.

The Law survives because the physics demands it. Any system with mass is embedded in the Spaticle substrate, any substrate-embedded system with mass experiences the substrate's gravitational deformation gradient, and any system experiencing a structured deformation gradient in a direction-specific, persistent way is sensing. Mass implies gravitational sensing. Sensing implies non-zero CI. Vijay's Law follows from substrate physics.
